'Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances of survival of life
on Earth as much as the evolution of a vegetarian diet." - Albert Einstein

Cape Cod Vegetarians (CCV) is an all volunteer, tax exempt, nonprofit organization founded in 1990 by local Cape Cod residents. Our goal is to educate people to the benefits of vegetarianism and the many issues surrounding our food choices.

As an educational group, we provide information and support to vegetarians and anyone interested in learning about a vegetarian lifestyle.

Through our potluck dinners and other outreach events, we help people make the transition to a healthy and humane vegetarian diet. The food at all CCV events is Vegan (pronounced VEE-gun). This means totally plant-based, entirely free of any flesh, flesh-byproducts, eggs, dairy, honey, or refined sugar.

Cape Cod Vegetarians is not affiliated with any religious denomination, political organization, or commercial enterprise. Our members are your neighbors, your friends, and your family.

What We Do

Monthly meetings to include potlucks, food demos, cooking classes, videos, and guest speakers.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, vegetarians, non-vegetarians, members, and non-members.

Set up and staff educational outreach tables at conferences, fairs, and other special public events.

Distribute free packets loaded with vegetarian information and recipes.

Keep members informed of legislation that affects health and humane issues.

Hold periodic fund raisers to cover our operating expenses.

Assist students and their parents with any nutritional concerns.

Work with other local groups to promote a greater awareness of the benefits of vegetarianism within the community.
